Production Manager (Electrode, Day)

Location: Onsite in Sparks, Nevada, United States. The role requires the ability to work any shift assignment in a 24x7 operation. All candidates must have valid authorization to work in the U.S. without restriction.

What you will do

• Manage assigned electrode production lines and support the ramp-up and ongoing operation of manufacturing activities.
• Lead production teams to achieve safety, quality, cost, delivery, and KPI targets.
• Implement manufacturing strategy, optimize production levels, and drive operational excellence.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles.
• Coordinate with internal cross-functional teams and provide production status updates in management meetings.
• Develop, motivate, recognize, and mentor employees and teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Ability to explain and present technical information and influence change without direct authority.
• Working-level English proficiency is required, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Ability to work onsite in Sparks, Nevada and any shift assignment in a 24x7 operation.
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States is required.

Nice to have

• 3+ years of experience in high-speed, high-volume manufacturing.
• Experience with machine controls and instrumentation, Lean Six Sigma, continuous process improvement, ERP transactions, and 5S.
• Lean Six Sigma certification.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration or Master of Science.
• Experience leading production teams, change management, root cause analysis, and safety-focused operations.
