Senior Data Engineer (Azure/Databricks)

Salary: $96,000–$148,000 per year

What you will do

• Design and deliver business intelligence and data warehouse solutions supporting growth across North America.
• Drive data modernization using Azure, Databricks, and AI automation to improve data accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Build scalable data engineering pipelines for enterprise analytics and reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, test, and implement data warehouse applications.
• Maintain solution quality through code reviews, coding standards, and ETL testing.
• Provide technical guidance to Data Engineers and promote engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in data engineering.
• 5+ years of experience developing enterprise ETL and data integration solutions with Informatica PowerCenter, SSIS, Databricks, or similar technologies.
• Experience writing complex T-SQL and tuning database performance.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving data issues.
• All positions are on-site in Waukegan, Illinois. hirify.global does not participate in the H-1B lottery.
