Data Engineer (Databricks)

Salary: $125,000–$159,000 per year

What you will do

• Administer and support the Databricks platform and underlying AWS infrastructure.
• Collaborate with business leaders, executives, engineering, data science, analytics, security, and infrastructure teams.
• Evaluate, prototype, and propose new platform features and technologies.
• Build and maintain operational ETL pipelines to monitor Data Platform health.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code artifacts using Terraform and/or CDK.
• Build dashboards, alerts, and reports for operational, cost, and security signals while enabling AI solutions.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role.
• Proficiency in Spark with Python or Scala, plus fluency in Python and SQL.
• Extensive experience using and administering Databricks.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and/or CDK and familiarity with infrastructure-as-code concepts.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills in a hybrid working environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
