AV/UC Programmer (AMX/Crestron)

Location: Greensboro, North Carolina, United States; onsite five days per week. Slight travel to customer locations may be required, under 20%.

What you will do

• Design and program commercial AV/UC control systems.
• Develop reusable device and system modules, research new products, and improve existing control methodologies.
• Load, troubleshoot, and update control system programs, software, and firmware onsite.
• Create custom user interfaces and advise customers on interface design.
• Prepare and execute in-house and onsite test and acceptance plans.
• Support proposals and projects through customer assistance, installation guidance, scheduling, and cross-functional coordination.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working with AMX and Crestron programming languages.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field with 1–2 years of experience, or 8–10 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
• Ability to follow activity plans and complete work punctually with attention to detail.
• Must be clearable for a DOD Secret Clearance; existing clearance is preferred but not required.

Nice to have

• AVIXA CTS, CTS-I, or CTS-D certification.
• Crestron, AMX, Extron, C#, ClearOne, Biamp, or Polycom certifications.
