Director of Product Development

What you will do

• Lead cross-disciplinary Agile teams of Software Engineers, Quality Assurance Analysts, Automation Engineers, and Product Owners.
• Own the design, development, deployment tools, automation, and cloud operations for hirify.global Discovery.
• Participate in architecture and design sessions for new platform features.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Client Services, business stakeholders, and technical teams on the platform roadmap.
• Improve CI/CD workflows, establish application performance goals, and oversee monitoring.
• Guide team managers, hire and retain software professionals, and support their professional development.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of technology leadership experience.
• At least 5 years leading Big Data or data ingestion teams building Business Intelligence solutions.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or other cloud technologies.
• Experience with distributed search engines such as Elasticsearch or AWS OpenSearch.
• Experience with Java or C#, modern JavaScript frameworks, and relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a related field.
