Associate Manager - Software Engineering (Reinsurance)

What you will do

• Support Business Analysts and software engineers in developing software products and solutions.
• Provide guidance on P&C Reinsurance business processes and functional assessments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and support successful project delivery.
• Manage tasks, assignments, priorities, timelines, resources, and budgets.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve delivery issues.
• Mentor team members through feedback, coaching, and career development planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Typically 8+ years of relevant industry experience, including 4+ years in a similar role with Reinsurance domain experience.
• Strong Reinsurance domain knowledge and familiarity with software project delivery methodologies.
• Prior leadership or mentoring experience.
• Strong communication, teamwork, organization, and time-management skills.
• Willingness to develop further in a leadership role.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in a related field.
• Relevant certifications or training.
