Assistant Area Manager, Lake Norman

Location: On-site in Mooresville, North Carolina, United States; must reside within a short drive of the designated vacation rental properties and travel frequently between sites.

Salary: USD 50,000–50,001 per year, plus a performance bonus.

What you will do

• Support the Area Manager with daily operations across hirify.global properties and act as market lead or personnel manager when needed.
• Serve as a point of contact for property owners, communicate updates, review owner distribution statements, and maintain owner satisfaction standards.
• Monitor and resolve guest and homeowner concerns through email, calls, texts, Slack, and support tickets.
• Inspect properties, identify quality and compliance issues, and coordinate corrective actions, housekeeping, and routine maintenance.
• Manage consumables and linen inventory while coordinating training, coaching, and performance evaluation for field operations personnel.
• Travel frequently between properties and participate in rotating after-hours on-call coverage.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hospitality or customer-facing experience.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Must reside in the designated area near the vacation rental properties.
• Valid driver's license, active car insurance, and a reliable snow-ready car.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays with a flexible schedule, including frequent driving, standing, walking, and physical property-support activities.
• Strong self-management, prioritization, communication, and responsiveness skills in a fast-paced environment.

• Accredited Residential Manager (ARM) designation.
