Tester (Electrical Equipment)

What you will do

• Test electrical equipment across various commercial refrigeration product lines.
• Identify and correct testing issues or escalate them to a lead or supervisor.
• Interpret rack flow directions, electrical wiring applications, drawings, blueprints, and legends.
• Perform final equipment reviews, inspections, leak testing, and completion of required documentation.
• Use gauges and electrical test equipment, including ohm meters, to validate equipment operation.
• Follow safety procedures and support lean initiatives such as 5S, 4I, ACPs, and RATs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of experience in testing, with prior experience using testing equipment.
• Experience in electrical, mechanical, leak testing, or a combination of these areas, depending on the product line.
• Basic troubleshooting skills and a basic understanding of refrigeration flow systems.
• Ability to test CO2 units with minimal assistance and work with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of department processes, procedures, safety rules, and lean concepts; flexibility to work overtime as production needs require.
