Install Technician I - Start Up (Commercial Refrigeration)

Location: Dallas, Georgia, United States; onsite. Work may include nights, weekends, and out-of-town assignments.

Commercial refrigeration services provider installing and commissioning systems for supermarkets, convenience stores, and cold storage facilities.

What you will do

• Start up and functionally check newly installed HVAC, plumbing, electrical, building automation, and refrigeration systems.
• Install, connect, and adjust thermostats, sensors, controllers, cabling, communication loops, and mechanical components.
• Diagnose system performance, troubleshoot equipment, and complete preventive maintenance as needed.
• Read plans, blueprints, specifications, control drawings, and technical documentation; identify installation errors and omissions.
• Coordinate with customers, subcontractors, vendors, managers, and supervisors to ensure proper system operation.
• Complete customer, invoicing, and EPA documentation and maintain truck inventory and vehicle program requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with two years of related experience and/or training, or a technical degree with no experience required.
• EPA 608 Certification, Level 3.
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at high elevations, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Mechanical aptitude, strong communication and organizational skills, customer focus, and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, make technical decisions, and work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.
