TL;DR

Location: North Chicago, Illinois, United States; domestic travel of approximately 30% required.

Salary: $160,500–$305,000 base pay annually.

What you will do

  • Develop and implement U.S. government affairs strategies supporting neuroscience therapeutic-area and above-brand policy objectives.
  • Shape public policy to improve patient access and reimbursement among government and commercial payers.
  • Connect U.S. Government Affairs with therapeutic business units by sharing commercial, pipeline, risk, and opportunity insights.
  • Build advocacy partnerships with third-party organizations and maintain stakeholder engagement plans.
  • Support brand planning, launch readiness, lifecycle strategy, and alignment with federal, state, and global policy teams.
  • Manage consultants and budgets supporting public policy advocacy strategies.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, public policy, government, or campaigns.
  • Experience designing and leading coalitions, with strong government affairs, political, policy, access, and reimbursement expertise.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and engage effectively with executives, governments, and external organizations.
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, interpersonal, communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, political science, public administration, policy, or a related field preferred; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • Ability to travel domestically approximately 30% of the time.
