Director, Scientific Communications (CNS)

Location: Remote within the United States

Salary: $186,489–$278,875 annually, plus incentive opportunity

What you will do

• Lead global scientific communications strategies and integrated Medical Communication Plans for assigned CNS assets.
• Develop disease-state education, field medical, data dissemination, congress, and external engagement content.
• Translate clinical and scientific data into clear, strategic, compliant, and omnichannel communications.
• Chair cross-functional teams and align Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Evidence Generation, Regulatory, and Commercial stakeholders.
• Oversee agencies, scope-of-work planning, resource allocation, budgets, timelines, governance, and operational improvements.
• Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing scientific communications team.

Requirements

• Advanced degree required, such as PharmD, MD, PhD, or equivalent in science, medicine, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in Medical Affairs, Scientific Communications, or a related pharmaceutical or biotechnology role.
• Three to five years of leadership experience, including developing and managing team members.
• Experience leading global communication strategies, integrated planning processes, cross-functional teams, and senior stakeholder engagement.
• Expertise in content strategy, omnichannel engagement, digital communication tools, project management, and scientific compliance.
• Experience in the CNS therapeutic area is strongly preferred.
