Technical Support Technician (Infrastructure/Networking)

Location: Rockaway/Dover, New Jersey, United States

Salary: $50,000–$70,000 per year plus uncapped overtime.

What you will do

• Provide L1/L2 support for Windows, Microsoft 365, hardware, software, and connectivity.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot servers, switches, networking equipment, and physical infrastructure.
• Perform hands-on data-centre work, including racking, stacking, hardware replacement, and cabling.
• Troubleshoot LAN/WAN connectivity and network infrastructure issues.
• Support infrastructure deployments, upgrades, and maintenance.
• Work with senior engineers on infrastructure projects and client environments while maintaining accurate technical documentation.

Requirements

• Experience in IT support, infrastructure, networking, or a related technical environment.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and LAN/WAN concepts.
• Exposure to Windows, Microsoft 365, servers, switches, or enterprise hardware.
• Comfort working hands-on with physical equipment, cabling, and data-centre infrastructure.
• Ability to troubleshoot logically, remain calm under pressure, adapt to new technologies, and collaborate with technical teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with Cisco, Arista, HPE, or similar enterprise technologies.
