Senior Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote - USA

Salary: $195,000–$220,000 USD annual base salary, plus equity and performance-based bonus opportunities.

What you will do

• Build full-stack systems that simplify healthcare workflows and enhance the work of primary care physicians.
• Understand business and clinical needs, collaborate with operators, clinicians, product managers, and users, and shape solutions.
• Make independent technical and product decisions and own work from problem discovery through delivery and measurement.
• Develop and refactor complex, often distributed systems with attention to scalability.
• Adopt AI agents and incorporate AI into internal work and product solutions.
• Define development practices, write tests, document implementations, and enable fast, high-quality iteration.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in one or more common programming languages.
• Familiarity with databases and web frontend technologies.
• Experience building and refactoring complex, often distributed systems.
• Ability to work across different technical systems and concerns with maturity, rigor, and attention to scalability.
• Passion for building systems with AI agents and connecting technical work to business and user outcomes.
