Senior Software Engineer, CoPilot Agent Platform (AI)

Location: Remote, United States

Salary: USD $124,000–$329,200 per year, plus potential bonus, stock, and other rewards.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and ship scalable technical solutions across hirify.global services.
• Build and integrate APIs and maintain reliable, extensible software components.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams.
• Use debugging tools and telemetry to resolve issues and improve performance and maintainability.
• Own system health and quality, including participation in on-call and first-responder rotations.
• Plan and track delivery of products, features, and bug fixes while maintaining operational excellence.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience; degree-based alternatives are accepted.
• Production software development experience with one or more general-purpose languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Go, Ruby, Rust, or Python.
• At least 2 years of experience using general-purpose programming languages such as Go, Ruby, or similar.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with modern frontend technologies such as React, CSS, HTML, JavaScript/TypeScript, and design systems.

Nice to have

• Strong understanding of testing principles and high-quality engineering practices.
• At least 1 year of experience using AI-assisted development tools such as hirify.global Copilot or AI code review.
• Experience with feature-flag-driven development and staged, reversible rollouts across multiple regions or tenancy models.
