Data Product Manager (GCP)

Location: Dearborn, Michigan, United States; hybrid with onsite work four days per week for candidates within commuting distance of a hirify.global hub location.

Salary: $115,000–$192,900 annually; salary grade 8.

What you will do

• Own the product lifecycle and strategy for data access, privacy, governance, and data-sharing platforms.
• Translate GDPR, CCPA, and other legal and regulatory requirements into scalable platform capabilities in partnership with legal, privacy, security, engineering, and business stakeholders.
• Write BRDs and PRDs, manage the product backlog, define OKRs, and prioritize features based on business value, compliance risk, and technical feasibility.
• Lead agile ceremonies, Scrum of Scrums, operational reviews, product reviews, and cross-functional delivery coordination.
• Lead cloud migrations and large-scale user and service account migrations while minimizing operational disruption and technical debt.
• Evaluate microservice API architectures and guide GCP integrations for data warehousing, IAM, and data protection.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, information technology, or a related technology field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or Technical Program Manager working with data platforms, IAM, privacy, or governance products.
• Experience designing cloud migration strategies or leading large-scale user and service account migrations.
• Technical experience with microservice APIs, integrations, and system design discussions.
• Strong familiarity with GCP, including BigQuery, Cloud IAM, Cloud DLP, or Google Cloud Storage.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; verification of employment eligibility is required.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• CSPO, PSPO, SAFe POPM, PIPM, or equivalent Agile certification.
• Strong SQL knowledge and familiarity with OneTrust, Collibra, Looker, or Power BI.
• Experience with automated consent frameworks, data classification, and privacy-by-design principles.
