Staff Technical Program Manager (Automotive)

Location: Palo Alto, California, United States; hybrid, with onsite attendance potentially required four or more days per week for candidates within commuting distance of a hirify.global hub

Salary: $150,200–$283,500 per year

What you will do

• Develop product strategies, requirements, technology-readiness assessments, and development roadmaps.
• Lead end-to-end product development from concept through production, release, and end-of-life planning.
• Coordinate design, engineering, manufacturing, testing, quality, marketing, and other cross-functional teams.
• Create and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, milestones, risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Use engineering first principles to inform product plans, risks, and delivery timelines.
• Support market launches, contract manufacturing relationships, distribution, sales platforms, and online storefront delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 8+ years of experience as a Project Manager or in a similar role in the technology or automotive industry.
• Strong understanding of product development processes and product lifecycle management.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects from inception to completion.
• Strong communication, analytical, leadership, and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
