What you will do

  • Operationalize program strategy by translating high-level product vision into technical and business roadmaps.
  • Own zone-level unit economics, including COGS and CAPEX budgets, to meet program margin targets.
  • Lead technical cost-down initiatives and value engineering to mitigate financial risks.
  • Partner with Global Supply Chain to define sourcing strategies and oversee supplier capacity.
  • Direct the zone through design maturity phases and manufacturing readiness.
  • Oversee the planning and procurement of validation assets to ensure rigorous testing.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in automotive program management or engineering leadership.
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale vehicle programs from concept through launch.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of automotive cost structures, BOM/Non-BOM COGS, and CAPEX budgets.
  • Strong first principles engineering approach with prior Design & Release experience in complex systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence VP-level stakeholders and build cross-functional consensus.
  • Must be based in Southern California.
