Maintenance Agent (Property Maintenance)

Location: On-site in Port Aransas, Texas, United States. Must reside within a short drive of the properties and access the market by SUV or truck within 20–30 minutes. Hands-on, in-market presence is required, including availability for weekends, holidays, and flexible business-driven schedules.

Salary: USD 50,000–52,500 annually, depending on skills and experience.

What you will do

• Complete maintenance requests with local hospitality and maintenance teams.
• Repair furniture, unclog drains, paint, replace broken items, and perform general home improvement work.
• Inspect properties and grounds for safety and cleanliness and proactively resolve issues before guest arrivals.
• Document maintenance activities and billing details in the task management system.
• Maintain tools, supplies, spare furniture, lamps, space heaters, and fans in storage.
• Support onboarding of new properties, including touch-ups and installation of basic security components such as doorbells and cameras.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in property, hotel, or apartment complex maintenance.
• Prior experience conducting home maintenance and knowledge of electrical, plumbing, pool, HVAC, and landscaping work.
• Current driver’s license, proof of automobile insurance, and access to a suitable vehicle.
• Own tools and the ability to lift heavy objects and remain on your feet for prolonged periods.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and independent-work skills.
• Comfort using smartphone apps to document work and troubleshoot home technology issues.
