Apartment Maintenance Technician - Park

Location: San Diego, California, USA; work site at Park Apartments in Escondido, California

Salary: Up to $22.00 per hour, plus potential customer service satisfaction bonuses of up to $250 per month.

What you will do

• Provide maintenance assistance and responsive customer service to residents and team members.
• Complete basic apartment turns and prepare units for new residents.
• Troubleshoot and repair or replace plumbing, basic electrical components, HVAC equipment, appliances, and other building systems.
• Provide technical guidance and training to other maintenance technicians when needed.
• Support vendor quality management and conduct move-in and move-out inspections as required.
• Respond to emergency service requests during on-call shifts and adapt work to community and seasonal needs.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in facilities or building environments.
• Proficiency in at least two technical trades, such as plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, HVAC, or carpentry.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, seven-day work weeks when required, and on-call shifts at least one week per month.
• Reliable transportation for after-hours emergency service requests.
• Ability and willingness to perform physical work, including moving heavy equipment and machinery.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
