Equipment Specialist Supervisor (Lithium-Ion Battery Manufacturing)

hirify.global produces lithium-ion batteries and is expanding a large-scale battery manufacturing facility supporting electric vehicles and sustainable energy solutions.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, schedule, and support a team of Equipment Specialists.
• Set daily priorities, allocate resources, and maintain equipment reliability, operational readiness, productivity, and manufacturing continuity.
• Monitor KPIs and equipment performance data, remove operational barriers, and coordinate corrective actions and improvement initiatives.
• Drive safety, quality, reliability, productivity, and cost improvements using PDCA, Root Cause Analysis, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma methods.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, maintenance, quality, and operations leaders on equipment priorities and manufacturing performance.
• Oversee onboarding, training, qualification, performance management, succession planning, and technical development.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Electronic Technology, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, Manufacturing Technology, Engineering Technology, Business Management, or a related field; relevant experience may substitute.
• At least 3 years of progressive leadership experience or at least 2 years as a PECNA Equipment Specialist III.
• Experience leading technical, maintenance, manufacturing, engineering support, or operational teams.
• Knowledge of manufacturing operations, equipment reliability, troubleshooting, operational metrics, KPIs, and continuous improvement.
• Working knowledge of English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Must have valid authorization to work in the United States without restriction.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, industrial technology, business management, or a related field.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or higher, supervisory certification, leadership development training, or advanced Root Cause Analysis training.
• Experience with highly automated manufacturing environments, PLC-controlled equipment, automation systems, MES, Tableau, and manufacturing technologies.
• Five or more years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing, industrial maintenance, engineering support, or technical operations.
