Location: Sparks, Nevada, United States; onsite day-shift role

What you will do
- Provide engineering support for daily battery production and optimize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Troubleshoot real-time machine and process problems to reduce defects, losses, and production interruptions.
- Coordinate reactive and preventive maintenance activities with maintenance teams.
- Develop and implement permanent countermeasures for productivity, quality, safety, and equipment issues.
- Monitor and audit manufacturing processes against product specifications and standards.
- Create standard work instructions, SOPs, troubleshooting guides, and support industrial automation.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, plus a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of relevant engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with machine and process troubleshooting, root cause analysis, process improvement, data analysis, tolerancing, and identifying critical process parameters.
- Knowledge of 3D CAD, mechanical drawings, MPI, P&IDs, and the design of fixtures, jigs, and brackets.
- Ability to work production shift schedules, train manufacturing operators, and work between the manufacturing floor and office.
- Must have valid authorization to work in the U.S. without restriction.
Nice to have
- Experience with PLCs, control strategy, sensors, and actuators.
- Industrial data analysis or Manufacturing Execution System (MES) experience.
- High-volume manufacturing experience, particularly with batteries or electronic devices.
- Machine-shop and fabrication experience, contractor coordination, and familiarity with Six Sigma tools.
