WMS Continuous Improvement Strategist Manager (Blue Yonder WMS)

Location: Remote, with candidates required to be located in Fontana, California; Aurora, Illinois; or Savannah, Georgia. Travel up to 75% is required for domestic site deployments, customer engagements, and vendor sessions. Applicants must have valid authorization to work in the U.S. without restriction.

Salary: $130,000–$140,000 per year, with potential discretionary bonuses and incentives.

What you will do

• Lead full-lifecycle implementation, configuration, deployment, testing, upgrades, and optimization of Blue Yonder WMS SaaS.
• Configure inbound and outbound flows, slotting, wave planning, task management, labor management, and yard and dock operations.
• Coordinate data conversion, master data, ERP/TMS/customer EDI and API integrations, cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities.
• Assess warehouse operations, conduct time studies and process mapping, and deliver measurable labor, quality, throughput, and inventory improvements.
• Collaborate with warehouse operators, customers, transportation teams, 3PL providers, IT stakeholders, and the Blue Yonder vendor.
• Contribute to the supply chain technology roadmap and evaluate AI/ML, voice and AR picking, robotics, and advanced analytics.

Requirements

• BS/BA degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in warehouse or 3PL operations, WMS implementation, and supply chain technology.
• Hands-on experience implementing and configuring Blue Yonder WMS SaaS, including multiple full-lifecycle deployments, is required.
• Expert functional knowledge of labor management, slotting, wave and task management, and integration architecture.
• Knowledge of Lean methodology, warehouse operations strategy, KPI analysis, root-cause analysis, and WMS/TMS/3PL solution design.
• Ability to work on warehouse floors and support cutovers and hypercare outside standard business hours, including evenings, weekends, and rotating shifts.

• MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt, Shingo certification, or equivalent formal training.
• Experience with Power BI or equivalent reporting and business intelligence tools.
• Experience evaluating AI/ML, voice or AR picking, robotics integrations, and advanced analytics.
