Supply Chain Logistics Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Irvine, California, United States; hybrid work. Travel to domestic and international locations may be required for up to 25% of the time. Valid authorization to work in the U.S. is required.

Salary: $104,000–$174,000 per year, with potential discretionary bonuses and incentives.

What you will do

• Establish a global distribution network aligned with lean supply chain logistics initiatives.
• Lead freight strategy, carrier relationships, performance reporting, and service reliability improvements.
• Manage carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics service providers against standard operating procedures.
• Review transportation billing against contracts and tariffs to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews and report logistics performance metrics to company officials.
• Negotiate provider rates and develop, deploy, and train teams on transportation policies and guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, or a related field; equivalent experience may substitute.
• At least 4 years of experience in distribution and logistics, including 4 years negotiating contracts and rates with logistics providers.
• At least 2 years of experience with Oracle Applications or a similar ERP system across distribution, order entry, inventory, and finance.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, written, oral communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, provide guidance to junior colleagues, and manage both daily and long-term activities.
• Knowledge of international logistics terms, freight forwarding, routing, FAA and Customs requirements, or aerospace transportation is desirable.
