Sr Engineer, Software Engineer (Test Automation Developer)

Location: Hybrid in Columbus, Ohio; office attendance required two days per week

Salary: $76,000–$143,000 annually; expected starting range of $76,000–$115,000

What you will do

• Build and enhance automated testing frameworks using Playwright and maintain existing Cypress test suites.
• Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated tests for web applications, REST APIs, service integrations, and microservices.
• Partner with software engineers and product owners throughout the development lifecycle to build quality into each feature.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and quality gates to provide rapid feedback.
• Investigate test failures and improve test stability, reliability, and engineering quality.
• Analyze, debug, document, and deploy software using secure software engineering and DevSecOps practices.

Requirements

• Two or more years of software engineering, analysis, or related technology experience.
• Required experience building and maintaining automated testing frameworks with Playwright.
• Experience with Cypress and modern web applications built with JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks, including Angular.
• Experience testing REST APIs, service integrations, and using Postman.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated quality gates, including GitHub Actions.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills; proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, C++, Python, or JavaScript.

• Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems, or a related field.
