Sr Software Engineer in Test

Location: Remote in the United States

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable test infrastructure and data-driven automation frameworks using Jest and Playwright.
• Create and execute comprehensive functional, regression, edge-case, manual, and automated test strategies.
• Debug failures, investigate defects, and perform root cause analysis across multiple environments.
• Analyze requirements and technical designs to identify risks and improve testability.
• Collaborate with product managers and developers on test scenarios, acceptance criteria, and expected outcomes.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, manage test environments and data, and communicate quality metrics.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software testing and test automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Jest and Playwright for frontend and end-to-end testing.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience with both manual and automated testing in fast-paced development environments.
• Understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, risk-based testing, system dependencies, and integration points.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
