QA Automation Engineer

Location: 100% remote within the United States

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for enterprise web, API, and distributed systems.
• Expand automated test coverage and integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate REST API testing and perform SQL-based data validation.
• Apply risk-based testing, exploratory testing, and continuous testing practices.
• Partner with development teams to accelerate reliable software delivery.
• Debug test failures and contribute to testing strategy in Agile/Scrum environments.

Requirements

• Four or more years of QA automation experience; the posting also references 6+ years of experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Experience automating REST APIs and integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid SQL skills, knowledge of testing methodologies and the software development lifecycle, and Agile/Scrum experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen, Green Card holder, EAD holder, or H-1B transfer candidate; new H-1B visa petitions cannot be sponsored.

Nice to have

• Performance testing experience with JMeter, Gatling, or k6.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, BrowserStack, or Sauce Labs.
• Exposure to Cucumber or SpecFlow and behavior-driven development.
• Familiarity with security testing fundamentals, OWASP, or basic penetration testing.
