Test Automation Engineer

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $70,000–$90,000 annually

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for enterprise web applications, REST APIs, and distributed systems.
• Expand automated test coverage and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Partner with development teams to improve software quality and delivery confidence.
• Apply risk-based, exploratory, and continuous testing strategies in Agile environments.
• Debug issues and support reliable software delivery through analytical problem-solving.

Requirements

• 4+ years of QA automation experience; the posting also specifies 6+ years of overall experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Experience automating REST APIs and integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid SQL skills for data validation and knowledge of testing methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum, plus strong debugging, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with JMeter, Gatling, or k6 for performance testing.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for containerized test environments.
• Experience with BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
• Exposure to Cucumber or SpecFlow and familiarity with OWASP and basic penetration testing.
