Software Quality Engineer

Location: 100% remote within the United States

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for enterprise web applications, REST APIs, and distributed systems.
• Expand automated test coverage in partnership with development teams.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support confident software delivery.
• Apply testing methodologies across the software development lifecycle in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Validate application data using SQL and contribute to engineering quality initiatives.

Requirements

• 6+ years of QA automation experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Experience automating REST APIs and integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid SQL skills for data validation and strong knowledge of testing methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
• Must be based in the United States. Eligible candidates include U.S. citizens, Green Card holders, EAD holders, and H-1B transfer candidates.

Nice to have

• Performance testing with JMeter, Gatling, or k6.
• Containerized test environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Cloud-based testing environments such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
• Behavior-driven development frameworks such as Cucumber or SpecFlow.
• Security testing fundamentals, including OWASP and basic penetration testing.
