UX/UI Designer (Healthtech)

Location: Remote, with the candidate required to be located in the UK or Europe

What you will do

• Own end-to-end UX/UI design, from wireframes and user flows to polished, production-ready interfaces.
• Translate complex clinical logic, AI outputs, risk assessments, and data-heavy workflows into clear, accessible experiences.
• Design across the NHS-facing B2B platform and direct-to-patient web and mobile products.
• Lead or support interviews, usability testing, workflow observation, and synthesis of clinical and customer feedback.
• Contribute to the design system and collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, Clinicians, Customer Success, Support, and Marketing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product design experience with a strong end-to-end UX/UI portfolio.
• Experience with 0-to-1 product work or early-stage startups.
• Experience simplifying complex workflows, ideally in healthtech, diagnostics, or another regulated or clinical environment.
• Highly proficient in Figma, including prototyping and component-level design system work.
• Experience designing for web and mobile across B2B and consumer products.
• Ability to work autonomously, communicate design rationale clearly, and balance craft with speed.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with NHS workflows, EHR systems such as EMIS or SystmOne, or care pathway design.
• Exposure to DCB0129/DCB0160, MHRA SaMD frameworks, or ISO 13485.
• Familiarity with WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards.
