UI/UX Designer (Logistics): Building and evolving a design system for a cloud-based Transport Management Platform with an accent on UI design, accessible components, and intuitive dense application screens. What you will do
- Own and evolve the design system by creating components, defining patterns, and maintaining consistency with front-end code.
- Redesign complex, dense pages across multiple product domains for desktop and mobile applications.
- Design user flows, prototypes, customer-facing screens, and internal setup tools with product owners and engineers.
- Improve consistency and usability across existing components and internal tools.
- Engage directly with customers, including joining go-lives and visiting customer sites to inform design decisions.
- Work as the sole designer while collaborating with product owners and front-end and back-end engineers.
Requirements
- Strong UI design skills, with the role focused primarily on UI rather than UX.
- Proven experience creating or owning a design system and applying accessible design principles.
- Experience designing dense and complex desktop and mobile applications.
- Fluency in Figma or comparable design tools such as Framer.
- Comfort with direct customer contact and proactive ownership of design improvements.
- Fluent English required; around 2 years of relevant experience.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Storybook and established design systems such as Ant Design, Google Material, or Apple Human Interface Guidelines.
- High-level HTML/CSS knowledge.
- Dutch language skills.
- Experience using Claude Code and other AI tools for design and prototyping.
