Installation Foreman I (Commercial Refrigeration)

Location: Crestview, Panama City, Pensacola, Destin, or Fort Walton Beach, Florida; Atlanta, Georgia; or Charlotte, North Carolina. Remote, traveling position with work at assigned installation and remodel sites; nights, weekends, and out-of-town work may be required.

What you will do

• Oversee assigned commercial refrigeration installation and remodel projects from scheduling through completion.
• Coordinate installers, helpers, contractors, building owners, subcontractors, other trades, and field support staff.
• Plan work sequences, assignments, materials, equipment, and labor requirements.
• Track project progress, hours, material costs, budgets, forecasts, documentation, and closeout activities.
• Read plans, blueprints, specifications, control drawings, technical manuals, and regulations for refrigeration-related installations.
• Inspect work areas and equipment, provide safety training, correct unsafe conditions, and maintain customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent combination of education and experience; a technical degree is preferred.
• At least five years of commercial HVAC/R experience with a high school diploma or GED, or ten years of related experience and training.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Ability to perform installation technician duties, supervise personnel, manage competing priorities, and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at high elevations, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, communication, organization, customer focus, project management, and safety skills.

Nice to have

• EPA 608 certification.
• Technical degree.
