Mechanical Field Service Technician (Engineering)

Location: Must reside within a reasonable commute (30-60 minutes) of the assigned territory surrounding Minneapolis, MN and St. Paul, MN

Salary: $30/hr+

What you will do

• Perform routine preventive service, troubleshoot, and repair air compressors, dryers, and low pressure blowers.
• Set, install, and pipe compressor systems at customer locations.
• Communicate technical options for repairs and upgrades to customers and the Service Manager.
• Complete all service-related documentation including service reports and warranty forms.
• Participate in a rotating 24/7/365 on-call pool requiring travel to customer locations.
• Maintain high safety standards and correctly use personal protective equipment.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of technical experience in the mechanical, maintenance, or electrical field.
• Must reside within a 30-60 minute commute of Minneapolis, MN or St. Paul, MN.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in industrial environments with temperature extremes.
• Valid driver's license and fluency in English.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; EPA certification is a plus.
• Ability to park a branded company vehicle at your residence without restrictions.

Nice to have

• Experience with overhaul and repair of industrial equipment (electrical, hydraulics, and/or pneumatics).
• Experience in HVAC.
