Assistant Manager - Technical Support (HVAC)

Location: Gurgaon, Haryana, India. Hybrid schedule: onsite Monday through Thursday; Friday work location is flexible.

What you will do

• Assess client sites and calculate thermal cooling loads for temporary temperature-control solutions.
• Design temporary chilled water and air systems, including equipment selection for chillers, air conditioners, plate heat exchangers, and cooling towers.
• Specify ancillary equipment such as pumps and hoses, create engineering schematics and piping layouts, and release bills of materials.
• Manage technical projects from concept through equipment demobilization, including installation, commissioning, and testing.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical systems while coordinating logistics, third-party contractors, and field technicians.
• Support sales meetings, site visits, technical rental proposals, cost estimates, and presentations for corporate decision-makers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of HVAC experience.
• Experience in temporary equipment rental industries and strong expertise in industrial refrigeration.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or specialized HVAC design software.
• Strong understanding of electrical control panels and variable-frequency drives.
• Strong project management and client-facing communication skills.
