Senior Backend Developer (AI)

Location: Worldwide; fully remote

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable server-side architectures and reusable backend code.
• Build and optimize APIs for data ingestion, retrieval, and integration with AI models.
• Develop data pipelines for large-scale text, multimedia, and linguistic datasets used to train and serve AI models.
• Integrate and deploy AI models within backend systems and support real-time AI applications.
• Implement WebRTC and WebSocket communication, including video and audio streaming features.
• Maintain cloud-based infrastructure and collaborate with frontend developers and AI researchers on secure, cohesive systems.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a Backend Developer or in a similar role.
• Solid working knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proficiency in Docker and containerization.
• Experience with AI integration, data pipelines, and large datasets.
• Experience with WebRTC and WebSocket streaming technologies.
• Strong understanding of network security, secure data handling, and infrastructure management.
