Backend Engineer (Java/Spring Boot)

About the Role

Join a cross-functional engineering team to build scalable backend software that supports billing and payments systems. Collaborate closely with engineers and product managers to deliver high-quality, customer-facing features.

What you will do

• Build, enhance, and maintain backend services and applications.
• Write clean, secure, scalable, and well-tested code.
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and sprint planning.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to implement features.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve platform stability.
• Experiment with new technologies and contribute to engineering standards.

Requirements

• Fluency in English.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Professional experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Exposure to cloud development and infrastructure, preferably AWS.
• Understanding of REST APIs, databases, and software testing principles.
• Experience with Git and collaborative development environments.
