Senior Counsel

Location: Milton, Ontario, Canada — Toronto Branch

Salary: CAD 150,000–210,000 per year

What you will do

• Advise Canadian operations and leadership on complex legal matters and business objectives.
• Collaborate with U.S. teams on commercial transactions and legal strategy.
• Identify, assess, and escalate legal and regulatory risks.
• Conduct legal research, prepare documents, and provide guidance on legal issues.
• Partner with management and HR to develop and implement employment practices, policies, and compliance programs.

Requirements

• J.D. or LL.B. from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario or an equivalent organization.
• 5+ years of legal experience at a large company or law firm.
• Excellent writing, communication, and analytical skills.
