IT Systems Engineer (AI)

Location: San Francisco, hybrid; regular onsite and in-person employee support required

Salary: $135,000–$145,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Own identity and access management, including SSO integrations, user provisioning, access controls, and Okta.
• Design and scale IT systems supporting company growth, security, and compliance requirements.
• Manage endpoint provisioning, configuration, patching, lifecycle management, and secure device disposition.
• Own employee onboarding and offboarding workflows and provide day-to-day access, troubleshooting, and employee support.
• Build automation and self-service systems that reduce manual work, bottlenecks, and single points of failure.
• Set up and maintain office networks, VPNs, and access points while partnering with Security on reliable IT infrastructure.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, IT Engineering, or a similar role.
• Experience building and managing IT systems and workflows in a growing organization.
• Strong understanding of identity and access management, including SSO, SAML, SCIM, and RBAC.
• Experience with enterprise SaaS tools, Okta, and device management platforms such as Jamf or Microsoft Intune.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across macOS and Windows environments.
• Comfort working onsite in San Francisco and supporting employees in real time.
