Cloud Computing Architecture Manager (Microsoft Azure)

What you will do

• Lead the enterprise compute environment across Microsoft Azure and on-premises infrastructure.
• Develop infrastructure roadmaps and drive cloud modernization, automation, lifecycle management, and technology refresh initiatives.
• Manage servers, virtualization, storage, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity capabilities.
• Lead major infrastructure incidents, root cause analysis, vulnerability remediation, and service improvements.
• Lead, mentor, hire, and develop infrastructure engineers while managing priorities and on-call support.
• Manage technology vendors, licensing, cloud spending, maintenance agreements, and infrastructure budgets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of enterprise infrastructure experience and 3+ years leading technical teams or infrastructure initiatives.
• Experience managing hybrid cloud environments and migrating workloads to Microsoft Azure.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, Hyper-V, virtualization, enterprise storage, backup, disaster recovery, and infrastructure security.
• Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, PowerShell scripting, and infrastructure automation.
• Excellent communication, analytical, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Azure certifications.
• Experience with Azure Arc, Infrastructure as Code, cloud automation, monitoring, storage, and backup platforms.
• Experience with Pure Storage, Dell EMC, NetApp, HPE, Veeam, Rubrik, Cohesity, Commvault, or Azure Backup.
