Senior Manager of Cloud Engineering (Cybersecurity)

Location: On-site at the Sunnyvale, United States office

Base salary: $233,000–$280,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead and manage a cloud engineering team developing distributed microservices for a scalable, multi-tenant platform.
• Direct cloud service development with emphasis on performance, security, reliability, automation, and observability.
• Establish coding guidelines, participate in code and design reviews, and ensure high-quality testing and automation.
• Collaborate with Product Management to align engineering work with business goals.
• Manage the full software development lifecycle from requirements through deployment and operations.
• Support agile delivery, sprint planning, continuous learning, and adoption of new technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
• 10+ years of software development experience, including 5+ years managing cloud engineers.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes, microservices architecture, and AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Experience with network security, TCP/IP, REST APIs, and Unix/Linux environments.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
