Cloud Infrastructure Technical Leader (AWS/Azure)

Location: Bellevue, Washington, United States. The work model prioritizes in-person collaboration while offering some flexibility.

Salary: $84,400–$156,800 per year.

What you will do

• Design, implement, maintain, and optimize secure, scalable, highly available infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and on-premises datacenters.
• Lead engineering across Windows and Linux servers, storage, networking, databases, application platforms, and hybrid-cloud environments.
• Drive infrastructure modernization, automation, monitoring, operational improvement, and emerging technology evaluation.
• Lead complex cloud and infrastructure projects, managing milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and technical deliverables.
• Troubleshoot cross-layer infrastructure and application issues in partnership with architecture, application, database, network, security, and operations teams.
• Analyze infrastructure, cost, capacity, performance, risk, and operational data, creating reports and presentations for technical and executive stakeholders.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure or systems engineering and administering Windows and Linux environments.
• 8+ years supporting enterprise web and application servers such as IIS, Tomcat, or WebSphere.
• 5+ years of hands-on AWS and Azure experience.
• Strong knowledge of hybrid infrastructure, enterprise datacenter architecture, servers, operating systems, storage, networking, databases, applications, and security.
• Strong scripting, automation, troubleshooting, data analysis, and advanced Excel skills, using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar technologies.
• Experience leading complex projects and providing direct or indirect technical leadership, with ITIL or another IT service management framework.

Nice to have

• AWS or Microsoft Azure certifications.
• Experience with cloud migration, Infrastructure as Code, DevOps, monitoring, observability, security, and service management platforms.
• Experience in large-scale enterprise or managed services environments.
• Experience in insurance, financial services, or other highly regulated industries.
