Senior Product Engineer / AI Solution Architect (AI)

Location: Madrid, Spain; hybrid working model with some days remote and some days onsite.

What you will do

• Evolve AI-powered products and technical capabilities for enterprise integration, migration, modernization, and application decommissioning.
• Design and build reusable APIs, connectors, agentic workflows, evaluation scripts, and automation assets.
• Apply LLMs, agentic AI, RAG, GraphRAG, code analysis, and workflow automation to enterprise use cases.
• Define engineering practices, technical guardrails, quality criteria, and reusable reference architectures.
• Evaluate vendor and open-source solutions, supporting buy-versus-build decisions and integration into hirify.global environments.
• Collaborate with product, architecture, cloud, DevOps, AI, vendor, and country technology teams on technical feasibility and implementation.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, cloud engineering, AI engineering, or technical product development in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience building digital products, platforms, automation tools, developer tools, or integration capabilities.
• Practical experience with AI-enabled systems, LLM use cases, code analysis, workflow automation, RAG, agents, or AI-assisted software engineering.
• Experience with Python or an equivalent language, APIs, Git, testing, documentation, maintainable code, enterprise integrations, cloud services, DevOps, and secure software delivery.
• Knowledge of AI/LLM engineering, including agents, RAG/GraphRAG, prompt and workflow design, evaluation, and orchestration patterns.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent professional experience; full professional proficiency in English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in banking, financial services, regulated technology, modernization, application rationalization, or enterprise migration.
• Experience with AWS or Azure, MCP, Semantic Kernel, LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, knowledge graphs, code parsing, or static analysis.
• Spanish or Portuguese language skills, relevant technical certifications, and experience with vendor assessments or PoCs.
