Senior AI Engineer

Location: Remote or hybrid from Dublin, Ireland; Barcelona, Spain; or Warsaw, Poland.

What you will do

• Lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of scalable AI solutions, products, frameworks, and enterprise integrations.
• Build applied AI solutions using LLMs, RAG, agentic frameworks, document intelligence, machine learning, and data science techniques.
• Design and maintain cloud-native, enterprise-grade applications using clean architecture, reusable patterns, comprehensive testing, and secure engineering practices.
• Deploy and operate AI platforms and applications on Azure using CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, containerization, DevOps, and MLOps.
• Manage the full lifecycle of AI applications and models, including monitoring, observability, performance optimization, reliability, releases, and operational support.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, platform, and business teams while providing technical leadership and mentorship.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience developing software, AI, machine learning, cloud, or data-driven solutions.
• Strong Python software engineering experience and experience delivering scalable, secure, maintainable AI solutions into production.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, MLOps, Docker, Kubernetes, distributed systems, APIs, and enterprise integrations.
• Experience with LLMs, RAG, document intelligence, intelligent automation, or related AI technologies.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture, enterprise security, analytical problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and Agile delivery.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related discipline.
• Experience designing enterprise AI platforms, architectures, frameworks, or shared services.
• Experience with generative AI, agentic AI, document intelligence, AI evaluation, experimentation, and performance measurement frameworks.
• Experience mentoring engineers, providing technical leadership, or delivering AI solutions in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of responsible AI, governance, compliance, security best practices, or Azure certifications.
