AI Principal Engineer

What you will do

• Partner with business teams to understand workflows, pain points, and automation opportunities.
• Design and build AI-powered productivity tools for finance, HR, operations, sales, and marketing.
• Prototype and iterate with LLMs, Copilots, automation pipelines, and other modern AI/ML technologies.
• Deploy reliable, usable, production-ready solutions and measure their business impact.
• Translate business problems into scalable engineering solutions while driving delivery from discovery through rollout and adoption.
• Create reusable frameworks and platforms that accelerate future enterprise AI deployments.

Requirements

• 7–10+ years of experience in software engineering, machine learning, or applied AI.
• Experience designing and deploying production-grade systems in cloud environments and building AI/ML systems, preferably with LLMs or generative AI.
• Experience building, orchestrating, and monitoring agentic or multi-agent AI workflows.
• Ability to work across APIs, data pipelines, and front-end interfaces when needed.
• Strong knowledge of system design, distributed systems, scalable architectures, data engineering, analytics, security, and enterprise AI governance.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder collaboration, ownership, ambiguity management, and mentoring skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, and workflow tools.
• Familiarity with Azure AI, Microsoft Copilot, and the broader Microsoft ecosystem.
• Experience implementing GenAI services and agentic AI workflows in real-world business processes.
• Background in forward-deployed engineering, solutions engineering, consulting, process optimization, automation, or digital transformation.
