Sr Manager, Order to Cash

Location: Mountain View, California, United States; compensation varies across U.S. geographic markets.

Salary: $160k–$175k annually.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end order-to-cash operations, including Salesforce sales order processing, NetSuite invoicing, collections, payment application, and recurring, usage-based, and consolidated billing.
• Own monthly and quarterly collections forecasts using aging analysis, historical collection rates, customer payment behavior, and risk-adjusted collection probabilities.
• Analyze DSO and forecast variances, prepare cash receipt projections, and report findings and recommended actions to the Corporate Controller and senior leadership.
• Develop billing and payment systems roadmaps, automate reporting and exception alerts, and optimize processes based on operational errors.
• Partner with Sales, Deal Desk, Finance, Legal, Customer Success, Business Operations, and Internal Applications teams while addressing customer order, invoicing, and collections inquiries.
• Manage, coach, and develop staff and build a scalable team to support rapid company growth.

Requirements

• 6–8 years of management experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a related revenue operations function.
• Deep expertise in billing and payment processes, policies, and end-to-end order-to-cash cycles.
• Proven experience with acquisition integrations and migrating customers into existing billing platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and a record of maintaining accuracy under operational pressure.
• Strong cross-functional communication skills with engineers, finance leaders, customers, Sales and Deal Desk, Business Operations, Customer Success, Revenue, Legal, Internal Applications, and Biz Ops.
• Customer-first communication, proactive problem-solving, forward-thinking about order-to-cash interdependencies, and the ability to manage daily operations while maintaining a long-term vision.

Nice to have

• Experience in fast-growing SaaS or enterprise software organizations.
• Experience with recurring and usage-based billing models.
• NetSuite, Salesforce (SFDC), and Stripe experience; API integrations, enterprise SaaS platforms, and billing automation tools.
• Adaptability in a high-paced environment, including prioritizing, switching gears, and adopting new ideas.
