Manager, Global Billing Operations (SaaS)

Location: Boston, MA; hybrid work from the hirify.global office at least 2 days per week, with additional onsite meetings and company events as needed.

Base salary: $92,000–$125,950 annually across US locations, with potential incentive compensation, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead global billing operations, including billing setup, invoice generation, validation, delivery, cash application, and reconciliation.
• Manage collections, accounts receivable aging, payment delays, disputes, and performance metrics such as DSO and past-due balances.
• Translate complex SaaS contracts, pricing structures, and booking policies into accurate billing outcomes across regions, entities, and customer segments.
• Improve and automate billing and accounts receivable workflows while aligning Salesforce, contract terms, and NetSuite.
• Partner with Deal Desk, RevOps, Sales, customer stakeholders, Revenue Accounting, and Finance leadership on billing execution, revenue recognition, and audit requirements.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Global Billing Operations team while setting goals and performance expectations.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in billing operations or finance operations, preferably in SaaS or technology.
• 3+ years of people management experience and strong Order to Cash expertise.
• Strong experience with NetSuite and Salesforce.
• Deep knowledge of billing processes, invoicing structures, collections workflows, and complex deal environments.
• Experience with automation, AI, or process improvement initiatives, plus strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work from the Boston office at least 2 days per week.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with ASC 606 and revenue recognition.
• Experience with marketplace billing through AWS or Azure and third-party invoicing tools such as Coupa or Ariba.
• Exposure to Government portal WAAF, tax requirements, and multi-entity environments.
