Panasonic Pro A/V Sales Engineer

Location: United States; hybrid or remote work arrangement. Up to 50% travel is required, including on-site customer services.

Salary: $105,000–$120,000 annually plus bonus

What you will do

• Support consultative pre-sales engagements for KAIROS IP live production systems, PTZ and studio cameras, professional audio solutions, and related software and services.
• Create customer system designs and layouts, conduct product demonstrations and shoot-outs, and support sales events, trade shows, and seminars.
• Provide on-site and virtual installation support, equipment setup, configuration, adjustment, integration, commissioning, and maintenance training.
• Investigate and resolve product and solution performance or operation issues in collaboration with Product Engineering and Service teams.
• Train sales teams, integrators, and customers on hirify.global products and technologies.
• Gather customer and competitor feedback and prepare Voice of the Customer reports for product, planning, and development teams in the U.S. and Japan.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Broadcast and AV Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• 7–10 years of professional experience in the professional video, broadcast, and AV industry.
• Working knowledge of SMPTE ST 2110 and NDI-based IP live production workflows.
• Hands-on experience designing and operating IT and IP networks, security systems, and AV products, as well as knowledge of PTZ cameras, auto-tracking, and streaming workflows.
• Hands-on experience with Windows, Mac OS, and Linux, plus strong technical communication, presentation, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
• All candidates must have valid authorization to work in the U.S.; ability to travel up to 50% and lift and carry at least 40 lbs. is required.
