Machine Operator II (Lithium-Ion Battery Production)

Location: Onsite in Sparks, Nevada, United States. Candidates must have valid authorization to work in the U.S. without restriction.

What you will do

• Operate and start up one or more lithium-ion battery cell production machines, including inspection and conveyance equipment.
• Monitor production processes, perform continuous image inspections and visual quality checks, and support product acceptance standards.
• Identify problems, perform basic troubleshooting, and escalate quality or production issues when necessary.
• Move materials to the production floor and assist maintenance technicians with preventive maintenance and equipment cleanup.
• Maintain shift logs, quality-control records, required documentation, and a clean, safe 6S work area.
• Communicate with coworkers and maintenance technicians while following safety, environmental, company, and standard operating procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or two years of manufacturing or equivalent experience.
• At least one year of manufacturing or equivalent experience.
• Working-level English proficiency is required for reading, writing, and speaking.
• Basic knowledge of MES, X-500 procedures, communications PCs, mass extractors, speed lines, and statistics PCs.
• Ability to use material barcode scanners, prepare documentation, follow work instructions and SOPs, and perform basic Microsoft Office tasks.
• Ability to work onsite in Sparks, Nevada, and hold unrestricted U.S. work authorization.

Nice to have

• Experience in warehouse or manufacturing environments, automation, or assembly.
• Ability to analyze workloads, multitask, and work with metric and standard measurement systems.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
