Installation Technician II (Commercial Refrigeration)

Location: Salem, New Hampshire, United States. Onsite, full-time role with possible night, weekend, and out-of-town work.

What you will do

• Assist with installing refrigeration systems in supermarkets, convenience stores, and cold storage facilities.
• Solder copper piping, install PVC drains, valves, blower coils, refrigerant leak systems, and related components.
• Diagnose water leaks and refrigeration leaks, identify fittings and pipe sizes, and configure superheat specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, control drawings, technical manuals, service bulletins, equipment specifications, and regulations.
• Complete project documentation and customer paperwork accurately and on time.
• Manage truck inventory, multiple priorities, customer satisfaction, and assigned projects with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• High school education, or ten years of related experience and/or training; a technical degree is preferred.
• At least five years of directly related experience.
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
• Mechanical aptitude, strong organizational and time-management skills, and effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at high elevations, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• EPA 608 Certification.
• Technical degree or additional refrigeration training.
