TL;DR
Diagnostic Evaluator - LCSW, LMFT, LPC (Neurodevelopmental Diagnostics): Conducting neurodevelopmental and autism evaluations alongside evidence-based psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and young adults with an accent on comprehensive assessment, clinical formulation, and whole-child care. Focus on interpreting standardized assessment data, developing individualized treatment plans, and coordinating integrated care with interdisciplinary providers.

Location: Frederick, Maryland, United States. Hybrid schedule with onsite work at the assigned clinic at least 1 day per week; remaining responsibilities may be completed remotely. At least 12 hours per week must be scheduled after 4:00pm ET on weekdays or during weekends.

Salary: $85–$95 USD per hour.

What you will do

  • Conduct neurodevelopmental and autism diagnostic evaluations using tools such as ADOS-2, ASRS, and CARS.
  • Analyze assessment data, formulate diagnostic conclusions, prepare reports, and provide feedback to clients and families.
  • Provide evidence-based psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and young adults.
  • Complete biopsychosocial and diagnostic assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with psychiatric nurse practitioners, executive function coaches, speech therapists, families, caregivers, and outside providers.
  • Maintain timely clinical documentation, manage diagnostic scheduling, and participate in meetings, training, and supervision.

Requirements

  • Independent LCSW, LMFT, or LPC licensure in Maryland is required.
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, and families.
  • Strong clinical writing and documentation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary care model.
  • Ability to manage complex schedules and balance diagnostic and therapy responsibilities.
  • Availability for at least 12 after-school hours per week and onsite clinic work at least 1 day per week.

Nice to have

  • Experience conducting neurodevelopmental or autism diagnostic evaluations.
  • Familiarity with standardized diagnostic tools such as ADOS-2, ASRS, or CARS.
  • Experience in integrated or team-based care environments.
