TL;DR
Staff Clinical Product Specialist (Clinical AI): Leading clinical evaluation and safety oversight for AI-generated clinical documentation and error-detection systems with an accent on patient safety, clinical error taxonomies, and human-in-the-loop review. Focus on monitoring and analyzing AI errors, validating root cause analyses, optimizing adversarial-detection evaluations, and translating clinical risks into product priorities.
Location: Fully remote within the United States
Compensation: $250,000β$260,000 base plus bonus

What you will do
- Provide clinical leadership for Trust & Safety, AI error-detection modules, root cause analysis, and patient-safety decisions.
- Monitor, quantify, categorize, and report errors in AI-generated clinical summaries and notes using human annotations, AI surveillance, and client feedback.
- Create and validate automated root cause analyses and perform manual analysis when needed.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Data Analytics, and clinical review teams to define repairs, prioritize work, and escalate urgent risks.
- Lead SafeRead human-in-the-loop review operations, including reviewer performance, scheduling, hiring, auditing, feedback, training, and onboarding.
- Refine clinical error taxonomies and severity definitions, and support clinical prompt engineering and evaluation datasets for adversarial-detection systems.
Requirements
- MD or DO with at least 5 years of patient-care experience, including at least 2 years of inpatient care.
- Strong knowledge of clinical documentation, patient safety, and healthcare quality.
- Experience analyzing quality data and presenting findings to cross-functional stakeholders.
- Ability to translate clinical risks into product requirements and prioritization recommendations.
- Experience training, auditing, or supervising clinical staff or reviewers.
- Must be able to work fully remotely from within the United States.
Nice to have
- Experience evaluating AI-generated clinical documentation.
- Experience with clinical prompt engineering.
- Proficiency with SQL, Python, business intelligence tools, or advanced spreadsheet analysis.
- Certification or graduate training in patient safety, healthcare quality, clinical informatics, responsible AI, or data analytics.
